KAWAYAMA COLLECTION

Kawayama means Rivers and Mountains in Japanese.

Made from the weaving that covers the tatami mats, the Kawayama collection gives a new dimension to this iconic element of Japanese culture. Traditionally flat and straight, the tatami suddenly unfolds in volume and curves, to become works of art and pieces of contemporary furniture.

The collection was composed in harmony with the weft of this woven material, whose vibrant effect is thus sublimated. Each object is handcrafted using a unique and meticulous process. Each model comes in different patterns and color combinations.
