I was very happy to welcome you in this beautiful apartment in rue Saint Maur, to present you to the first 11 Tatalismans and discuss the story and meaning of this practice which nourishes my work as a designer.

The Tatalismans are the result of a daily meditative drawing practice. Every day, for a few minutes, I draw lines to recreate the vibration of the woven material that covers the tatami.

By practicing repeating the same gesture every day, I learn to detect the infinite subtleties contained in a simple line, just as in the extraordinary banality of everyday life.
