The washing-machine liberates time. At home, we are not conscious of this time, because it is usually spent working on other chores. In the Laundromat, we are confronted to this free time. Nowadays, to owning the machine is the common idea of comfort and, conversely, going to the Laundromat is considered to be an unrewarding activity. Nevertheless, owning a machine can also be a form of freedom. The aim of this project is to valorize the time offered by the machine in the Laundromats though an intervention on the different forms of interfaces user-machine.
